Founders just announced the next beer in their Barrel-Aged Series

This new brew is an Imperial Malt Liquor aged in bourbon barrels with heaping amount of corn added to give it a smooth sweetness.

Here you have what could be the first malt liquor worthy of a glass. Typically a slighted style, we thought we would class it up with a stay in the wood and a healthy dose of dry-hopping.

DKML is the fourth release in their Barrel-Aged Series. It will be available in 4-packs of 12oz bottles and 750mL bottles beginning in the Founders taproom on July 1 and the remainder of their distribution footprint soon after. You will want to keep this one out of the paper bag.
