Pound This: Odell Loose Leaf

Pound This: Odell Loose Leaf

It’s Friday!  That means it’s time to drink the most poundable, sessionable offerings from your faves.  This week it’s Odell Loose Leaf on the chopping block.

Odell calls it a Session Ale, Beer Advocate calls it an American Pale Ale, but couldn’t that technically be the same thing?  It’s got the heavy grass and spicy hops of an APA with a low ABV expected of a Session Ale.  So raise your glass to the lowly session ales!  You can love this one again, and again, and again.

C: Deep golden

A: Heavy grass and dry citrus

T: Sweet hay with spicy hops

F: Citrus rind, earthiness, minty, and herbal

B: Light to medium
