This fruited saison is made with Saison Dupont yeast, blackcurrant puree, Galaxy hops and acidified malts; it’s got layers.  

It began as a draft only option from a guest brewing venture with Notch Brewing and has recently moved to bottles.  As with everything in the Clown Shoes repertoire, this beer has a bit of attitude and is pretty drinkable at 6.0% ABV.

Color: Hazy deep raspberry

Aroma: Grass, bright fruit, and horsey

Taste: Blackcurrant (obviously), with pepper, dry citrus peel and herbal notes

Finish: Dry earthy tones

Body: Medium
